V - 1st Solo Album [Layover] (Random Ver.)

V’s solo debut is his own kind of comeback. It’s a slow, late-night, rain-on-the-window record that leans into old-school soul and R&B instead of big stadium pop. “Love Me Again” is the laid-back, 70s-style romantic soul lead track, “Rainy Days” blends his voice with actual rain and everyday background sounds, and “Blue” is an old-school R&B tribute with a modern twist. All five songs got their own music videos, and the album closes with a bonus piano version of “Slow Dancing.”

The physical album is a real collector’s package. It comes with two photobooks, a 100-page checklist, and a two-page letter, so it’s one of the most hands-on solo releases to unbox. It comes in three versions, each with its own cover, poster, postcards, and photocards.
